| Biography | Originally attracted to the hard trance sounds played in the morning sets at Hobart's early raves, Model T first started DJing in late '94. His taste in trance eventually extended towards more psychedelic flavours, and from late '95 to early '98, was a permanent fixture under the name of The Alchemist at the many outdoor trance parties that were held in that time. Whilst on holiday, Model T was also fortunate enough to play at the then legendary Trance Buddha club in Amsterdam, and also at the Global Chillage coffee shop. He has also played at The Palace, in Kuala Lumpur, and at The Mansion in Melbourne.
After growing disappointed with the direction that his beloved trance was taking, Model T dropped the flouro gear and embraced techno and house, until in '99, the rollin flavas of drum 'n' bass caught his attention, and that's the way it's been ever since. Model T has also been the promoter of the Liquid Lounge, a summer Sunday drum n bass session held at the Telegraph Hotel on Hobart's waterfront.
Although now residing in Brisbane, he can still be found DJing at Halo and Syrup nightclubs.
Model T has supported the following international and interstate artists:
Grooverider, Aphrodite, High Contrast, LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad (4 times), DJ Friction & SP:MC, Pendulum (5 times), ShyFX, Teebee, Goldie (2 times) & MC Lowqui, DJ Patife & MC Cleveland Watkiss, DJ SS, Tech Itch, DJ Randall, The Upbeats (NZ), Concord Dawn (NZ), State of Mind (NZ, MPK (Adelaide), Patch (Adelaide), Ritual (Sydney), Greg Packer (Perth), Q-bik (Perth), SpinFX, K-Oscillate (Melbourne), Junglettes - Kim de la Haye & Angie Summers (Brisbane) ... just to name a few!
