Here is a mix of a style that I like to call ‘lazy acid techno’. For me, tracks in this style have some pace, plenty of 303 action, and heavy kick drums, but they’re also very mellow, in that the 303 lines aren’t all that intense, and the tracks therefore just sort of roll along, never getting too hard, fast, or crazy (but still are very cool, of course!). And as you may notice, Guy McGaffer AKA The Geezer is the primary purveyor of this sub-style of acid techno, and it is thus no surprise that he’s stamped on every track in this set.
The samples are all from Die Hard 4, which is actually called Live Free or Die Hard.
