So, as I explained last time, I just got a new mixer; and as I said, I had some problems getting the volume levels (etc.) right during my last mix, and even though I raised the volume post-recording, I’m sure that many of you noticed that the sound in Ain’t Got Time to Bleed isn’t the greatest, particularly in terms of the bass (which was very weak, even though I tried to fix it after recording).
Well, as I also said, I have fixed the problem, and so this mix is back to the normal sound quality of my mixes, and the bass is loud and thumping, indeed! And since I felt that some of the tracks from my last mix got ‘short-changed’, so to speak, I figured I’d use them again, so that you can hear them properly, as they are meant to be heard!
As such, please enjoy this mix of hard, fast, plodding acid techno, perhaps a shade darker than Ain’t Got Time to Bleed, though again, I re-used 3 tracks from that mix (Mobile Telephone, Itchy Rock and the Dog Pound Acid, and Way of the Samurai – all right stompers!!!). Oh, and the samples are again from Predator, although this time, I used a couple of the quotes that I employed last time, as well as some that I used in my High Stakes mix.
Anyway, I have four days of freedom before my next semester starts, so expect to see several mixes pop up during that time!
Peace for now,
