I started mixing tunes in about 2003 after spending many nights in front of the decks on the dance floor.
I have played on the Friday night show of a local dance music radio station www.upfm.dj for about five years and held residency at Industry (an underground hard dance party that until recently ran in Auckland) for about 3 years.
Although more known for banging Hardhouse I have always dabbled in other genres especially Techno and Schranz. I now mostly play a mix of Minimal, Tribal Techno and Electro fused with the odd bit of Breaks, Psy and whatever takes my fancy. If I could find a phat Country & Western track I'd probably play that too.
I'm a firm believer that sets should be largely spontaneous and none of my mixes or sets are thought out prior to playing and I always try to throw a bit of a journey in along the way.
