Where to start.....
I grew up in Florida most of my life, parents divorced when I was 5, so I automatically started going down the wrong path right there. Moved to Washington State when I was 9, then to Utah when I was 10. Grew up mormon, boy did that mess me up. But if it wasnt for living in Utah, I would have never been introduced to the genre that changed my life forever. French Techno, as well as cyper punk. The two music videos, Daft Punk - Da Funk and The Prodigy - Firestarter. Before that I listened to mormon music and 50s 60s and 80s. But then I found myself.
About 6 years later, I get a computer, and started using KaZaz to download music.
This was wayyy before iTunes even exsisted. Or buying music online for that matter, well in the traditional sense, .mp3s, not counting amazon.
I heard about this nice little program called Winamp. This program changed my life again, with a nice lil thing called Music Video Web Streams. Joshie illegally played movies on his stream. We would vote on what to watch next out of a list he had. If a girl msged him, it counted as two votes, if a girl sent him nudes, they got to pick the movie XD.
Then I found OhMyTrance. This introduced me into the Dutch rave scene, to be more specific, Sensation White. Then I started downloading Sensation White 2003 mixes, my first being Marco V. Then I got into Sensation Black 2003. Luna, Dana, and everyone else. Then 2004, Yoji, Luna, Outblast, Pavo, Darkraver, Marcel Woods,Etc.
After that I started mixing music thx to my friend DJ Cliche Darkness. Freestyle at first, but I was doing horrible. Then Hard House and Hard Trance, started doing better. Then I found my love. Hardstyle/Jumpstyle. Jumping tracks, nice bass, melodic samples, the rebelism. Everything about Hardstyle made me who I am now. I found Dance-Tunes.com and started getting tracks.
Now I'm someone who wants to make something of himself, Not for the money, Not for the fame, but for the music itself. I listen to all genres of music. Except Country, only when I have to. But I LOVE music.
Tatanka Project's Track A DJs Life, put its plain and simple. I want to be in one of those parties. I want to feel the crowd while I'm playing music. I want to feel the energy in the room.
So help me become this better person. Help me to strive past this dead end life, and help me to become a better person then I am.
