Been interested in many different electronic genres since the early '90s. Began DJing hardcore (breakbeat, UK, happy, freeform, gabber, etc.) and drum&bass (liquid funk, techstep, jungle, etc.) in 2005. Recently started dabbling with more experimental music (glitch-hop, glitchcore, speedbass, etc.). Likely to stick with the hardcore for the time being, but the other stuff still interests me.
EDIT: Hardcore's popularity in my area has plummeted, so I've start moving towards some slower stuff. Electro House, Bassline Speed Garage, Dubstep, etc. I still love broken shuffle beats and pounding stuff. To me hardcore is a lot like hard electro house and drum&bass is a lot like dubstep. They're just different tempos. Bass bass and bass.
