From the Western Suburbs of Sydney - The New Frontier, rises Brendan ‘Sytrax’ Waldon.
His childhood is not unlike your average teenager. Skateboarding & various other hobbies are the norm until he turns 16, purchases Blutonium Presents: Hardstyle Vol. 2 and opens his mind to dance music.
At age 17 Brendan attends his first rave. Hundreds of people attend the show, but only one is truly changed.. By the crushing sound and people absolutely losing their shit to harder styles. This was his scene..
Like minded friends introduce him to mixing in early 2007 and he purchases his own turntables a few months later. He becomes immersed in the varied wonder of the styles; controlling the intricacies of light, sound and hounding music.
2008 to present - Sytrax has performed at Sublime & Unipackers (Home Nightclub), EMP (Embassy Hotel), Space Nightclub, more recently at Transmission: Magic City and holds a residency at Nox Nightclub in Liverpool.
2009 and Sytrax places 2nd in the NSW defQon.1 DJ Comp. The set opens with a lurid Dubstep track mixed into the harderstyles. The speakers boom:
