A Moment with DJ Paul Kruger
He moved to Brisbane from the South Burnett in October 2003 to pursue his trade as a Boilermaker. As soon as he started going out he discovered the Valley and the club scene which Paul had absolutely no idea about and took it head on and never looked back.
Listening to Baby Gee's sets back when he first started clubbing in the valley is what inspired Paul the most.
Baby Gee’s style and persona behind the decks really sparked Paul to want to dj. I started out learning to mix with progressive trance, trance, tech trance, German hard trance, hard style & uk hard dance & still do have a collection and still have a bit of a taste for it .
Mid way throughout 2007 He decided he wanted to mix house, electro, progressive, dirty house. So Paul could aim more for the party scene and get more gig’s essentially . August 2009 when Dan Burke from Lemon and Lime gave him his first proper club gig at the Martin Roth night at Planet Nightclub.
At the moment Paul choose to mix the following genres depending on the gig I'm pretty open minded I want to known as versatile so i play everything and anything really.
Electro, House, Progressive House, Dutch House ,Tech House, techno, dubstep.

Paul manipulates innovative tricks and mixing techniques. Mixes aggressively doing cut ‘s, samples, long blends, live mash ups, innovative spin backs, loops and crazy tricks with effects. And I am forever learning & upskilling.
Paul says he is long term process of learning to scratch. And is keen to learn and get into production in the not too distant future.
At the moment he is concentrating about pushing his name, playing as many gigs as he can and trying to build following.
My goal is to be a big name dj of Brisbane in high demand who plays for the people and can adapt to any situation.
To some it up Mr Kruger says he’s a down to earth guy who doesn’t think he is good. He is far from being arrogant. Will talk to anyone, but I can be really quiet. He just goes out there and does what he loves, is passionate about and dj’s true to himself as a dj and his style.
