As a young boy growing up in the late 80’s, early 90’s, Nightfire’s music taste was rather diverse, (His first ever cd was Enigma return to innocence, second ever was Bone Thungs N Harmony, First of Tha month!) Listening to everything and anything about.
This carried on until the age of 13 or so, when he discovered dance music, and more and more decent mix albums/compilations in the charts.
This is what started his love for trance, and it stayed that way until he got so fed up with the constant thump thump thump from his sister playing Hardcore, that he borrowed a tape pack to see what the fuss was about, and was hooked!
From then he liked all things Dance - Trance,, Hardcore, Hardhouse and Hard Dance.
At the age of 21 he was thrown in the deep end of Hardcore by a friend, who took him raving pretty much every weekend.
It stayed this way until 2005 when said friend got a pair of decks, and Nightfire could finally experience what it’s like playing the music, as well as dancing all night to it
In 2006 he got his first booking at a small club, and from there he had a few more for the same club, but from different promoters.
He also gained a residencey from another friend who started his own hardcore night.
Having played all over the south of the uk, Nightfire has played out Hardcore & Scouse House on many occasions, gaining a few Big Event bookings either as warm up, or in the 2nd/3rd room.
He even has 2 Bootleg collaboration remixes under his belt, both being Hardcore.
Nightfire was loving the Hardcore and mixing it, until he started to get disillusioned with the scene going too cheesey and commercial about 2 years ago, so he turned his attention back to Trance, to get up to date with whats going on.
He was still taking Hardcore bookings, and listening to it, but was preffereing the older sounds, whilst mixing Trance at home, and posting mixes online to share with people.
About July 09 he decided to put Hardcore on the back burner for a while and concentrate more on the Trance sound.
This was helped along by another mate of his, (DJ Raiden) who asked Nightfire to help promote a Trance and Electro night in a trendy bar in his town centre, thus Ibiza Sessionz was born, a monthly Trance, House & Electro night, playing everything from Classics to Upfront
So, now Nightfire mixes Trance, Electro House & Electro, bearing in mind, he used to hate the Electro in the charts (Just goes to show, the underground music scene is far better) until being told not to be so narrow minded, and look deeper!!!
He enjoys the more powerfull and emotionall Trance mixing, and the random-ness you can get from Electro.
Having at least 4 cd wallets for different genre’s, Nightfire has cd’s coming out of his ears!!!
He hasn’t totally given up on Hardcore, just put it on the shelf so he can concentrate more on his Trance and his own night.
At this moment in his DJ career, Nightfire is trying to teach himself to write and produce his own music, but self teaching is a slow and arduous task.
The next step is to take Ibiza Sessionz further afield and to different clubs around the UK, although this is in the future after he and Raiden have made the night an even bigger succsess story than it already is.

As a person, Nightfire enjoy's DJ-ing (of course), mountain biking on his trusty steed, camping, swimming, drinking with mates and generally anything exciting and having a fucking good time!
I also enjoy saying Awesome and How Random a bit too much!!!!!!
