Hard house/NRG, hard trance, psy, acid techno dj/producer from Tipperary, Ireland. Signed to Boshed Hard Recordings, Renewable NRG, Digital Razor, CDR Hard, Boxed Digital & Remedy Music under his psy trance alias Digital Specie.
Nigel Nrg has been d.jing for over 8 years.He spent his first few years playing on the free party scene mainly playing Hard House & Hard Trance where he quickly made a name for himself with his unique style of mixing and tune selection.While playing at the free partys he was introduced to the sounds of acid techno/acid nrg & psychedelic trance which he was quiet intrigued by & so started to introduce these genres into his sets.
In 2008 he was booked to play his first big club event for Audioheadz promotions where he quickly picked up his first residency slot.
In june 2009 Nigel and a friend started running there own small events called Underground Muzik & also played as resident dj at these events.
Since then he has played for a number of big promotion nights up & down the country such as Underground Vibes, Equinox, Oblivion, Hard Breed, Planet Love, Headliners, Elevate, Naughty South & UK hard house label & promo night Raw Power & has already played along side some big names in the hard dance scene which include Alex Kidd, Jordan Suckley, Dark By Design, Chuck - E, Mark EG, Tom Urwin & Irish stars Karl Davis, Wizard, Ewan Jones, Ian Fitzpatrick, Claire Browne, Brian Kearney, Indica Soundsystem & Leon Clark to name but a few.
In 2010 he decided it was time to turned his hand to the production side of things & sense then has had tracks signed to Boshed Hard Recordings, Renewable NRG, Digital Razor, CDR Hard, Boxed Digital & most recently has tracks signed to Remedy Music under his psy trance alias Digital Specie & also has a number of other things in the pipe line so watch this space.......
