About Me
With a career spanning over 18 years, Model T has played it all. Starting in the early 90s he was a regular performer under the moniker of The Alchemist, dropping peak-time and morning Psy Trance at the many Tasmanian bush parties. In the late 90s he changed tack, and for the next 12 years dedicated himself to the rolling bassline and Drum n Bass. A firm favourite on the bill, his sets were known for their technicality pushing vibes from hard and techy dancefloor tracks, through to melodic rollers, and liquid funk with a hint of dub pressure. It was this openness in style which saw him support some of the biggest names in the business - Andy C, Goldie and Grooverider - just to name a few.

Relocating to Brisbane, Model T played for local crews such as Rudebwoyz, Junglettes, UDP and Wax Assassins. All the while keeping his local profile high making regular trips back to Hobart, playing support at Halo Nightclub's international gigs.

From 2007-2009, he was also the host of Flex Time with Model T, a weekly 2hr internet radio show on www.krankydigital.com.

In 2010, Model T relocated to Kuala Lumper for studies with Monash University. During this time he changed tack once again. Inspired by the the SE Qld festivals and Cairns Winter Solstice, he returned to the decks but this time with the intention of crafting techno-inspired sets to be played in the outdoors. His most recent mixes - Re:Modeled and Shake Some Dust - are a reflection of this new direction.

And with over 18 years of collecting music, Model T also has a vast catalogue of slower beats suitable for any chill space.

Model T now resides back in his home town of Melbourne, Australia.
