Starting out with a love for sound at an early age Nick 'Miximus' Kelly has always had a passion for music, whether it be playing the drums on the lawnmower & bins in the backyard at the age of 3 or Receiving his first electric guitar at age 4... Now at the age of 21 he has somewhat progressed becoming a Musician/Dj Fluent with the likes of many Instruments & styles of music. His Passion for music has only Grown over the years becoming a fan of Electronic & club music in his Teen years.
When finally moving to Brisbane he was introduced to a whole new lifestyle & Scene where he saw the potential for himself to Improve as a Musician & Take up DJ'ing. At the age of 17 Nick was introduced to Tyson Illingworth (tyDi) by a Mutual friend who runs an organisation for Schoolies Week Support. He Caught a glimpse of tyDi's Vision and immediately started listening to all kinds of Electronic Music which later progressed to him Learning to Dj & taking it up as a hobby.
Eventually He was at the level where people saw him fit to Dj Professionally so he was offered afew small gigs for private events. Which later turned to Dj'ing on the Beach at Surfers Paradise Schoolies for over 3000 people at a time in November 2009, Now after Djing at schoolies for 3 years Consecutively and Venturing to Byron Schoolies for afew nights to hit the Decks, Improving his skills as Dj/Producer During the year as well as Regular Gigs the name 'Miximus' Turns heads when he is mentioned, And there's no doubt theres Plenty more to come from the Creative new Character that is 'Miximus'
