Learning how to DJ only 1 month previous and being lucky enough to be a fast learner, Krystian Reyes a.k.a. krysRAW debuted on his 21st birthday at Melbournes premium underground dance club HardKandy in 2001. With his fan base quickly growing amongst the underground dance scene, he saw himself playing at TwoTribes along with artist such as Tiesto and John 00 Flemming, only 4 months after his debut. Playing at such events as NRG, TwoTribes, Rebirth, G.O.D, Autosalon, BeatSeekers, Pharmacy and nights such as HardKandy, Elevate the Bass and 3D, krysRAW has found his sound adapting to the ever changing sound of the Melbourne underground dance scene. With his cheeky but dark blend of floor filling hardhouse, emotion seeking hardtrance, attitude driven hardstyle and insanity provoking hardcore, along with his theatrics behind the decks, krysRAW makes the perfect representative for the sound of record labels such as Tidy Trax, Stimulant Records, Blutonium Records and Raver Baby Records to name a few. With a strong belief that you should be a raver first and DJ second, krysRAW has ambitions to share his joy and passion for music to a wider audience with the aim to play at an international level with the realistic possibility of producing tracks for all ravers worldwide to enjoy. krysRAW currently presides as a rotational resident and photographer for 3D, Melbourne, is a resident DJ for the Melbourne Dance Addicts (M.D.A) parties, has left his mark at the G.O.D parties as well as leaving great impressions with Ozmusic Productions. krysRAW has begun networking in the Sydney and Brisbane hardcore scenes with hopes of making a name for himself in Sydney and Brisbane just as he has in Melbourne with no plans of slowing down! His goal would be to also build up the hardcore
scene in Melbourne. With direct influences such as Scott Alert (HardKandy, Kandy Kollective), Paul Brisk (Stimulant DJs, Stimulant Records, UK) and St Luke (3D, G.O.D) by his side, krysRAW has been able to forge his own style of DJing with a sound that never ceases to draw the crowd to the dance floor. With performance reviews that not only talk about his fun and energy filled sets but describe his ability to draw in even the most jaded of ravers onto the dance floor, krysRAW is not only involved in the Melbourne underground dance scene, he's tearin' it up!
