Jenocide Productions is a small event company in Brisbane, specialising in small rave like events.
The company has only been around since October 2008 when DJ K-dose and Jen got together to put on a birthday party for Jen at Rockafellas Nightclub. K-dose came up with the name Jenocide08 for the party and it stuck.
Jen then went to Rockafellas nightclub and put on Doin' it Hardstyle, which was a fancy dress event and was a huge success. Doin' it Hardstyle was supposed to be the last night of hard dance at Rockas, giving way to RnB, but due to the success of Doin' it Hardstyle, the manager decided that he would allow there to be at least 1 event there a month for us ravers.
Following on from the success of Doin' it Hardstyle, Jen put together As the Bell Tolls, with help from DJ Zero-2, for Zero-2 and Jen's boyfriend Greg's birthday. As the Bell Tolls was held at Rockafellas nightclub on the 3rd of May 2009, using both floors and was a success.
Since ATBT Jen has put on 3 more events, (Phoenix, Jenocide09 & Aurora) and is in the process of planning 3 more for this year.
2010 is going to be a big year for all, and Jenocide Productions is looking forward to it.
