Fazed’s passion for the dance music scene came at a later age than most. Being raised on Metal and Hip-Hop it was’nt until 2004, at age 20, that he discovered his love for all things dance. Attending his first dance party, Transmission Black, and seeing Yoji Biomehanika tear up the stage, he realised what he wanted to do. The next week he was out buying his first set of decks. He hasn't looked back since. Starting with Hard Trance, he found it hard to keep up his vinyl addiction on an apprentice pay. Borrowing from a friends extensive Happy Hardcore collection - he took up the genre, and instantly found his place in the scene. Heading out every weekend and seeing local heroes such as Matrix, Weaver, Tom-E, Haze & Suae (to name a few) work the crowds into a frenzy with thier own unique style only further fueled his desire to spend every spare minute he had mixing.
Scoring a residency at a well known Sydney radio show - Hardcore Overload (89.3 FM) - in 2006, he has gone from strength to strength, having played or playing at such parties as Uprise, Uprise 2: The Next Dimension, The Core, Plastic, Rave The City, Uprise: The Second Birthday, BeatFreqs, Raver's Ark, Hybrid @ The Roxy, Exploration Music Festival 2011 and on rotation in the Subcore room at one of Sydney’s best and most well known clubs - Sublime @ Home. Nowadays his tastes vary from Hardcore to Electro and everything in between but Happy Hardcore is always his first choice. With his uplifting and energetic style, things are only going to get bigger and better for this bedroom banger.
