Starting to Dj in 2001 I started off playing Hard and Uplifting Trance under the name DJ Luke Fitz in Newcastle, Australia. After playing my first event at the Mercury Hotel (Vitalbeats) I was put on as a resident on Saturday nights supporting the likes of Nik Fish, Pee Wee Ferris, Jumping Jack, Archie, Amber Savage, John Ferris and Bexta to name a few. From there I was picked up to play at clubs in Sydney such as Space and CQ lounge and also events such as Transmission. Currently I reside at a local event called 'Existence', where I and other local acts support Dj's such as Vicky Devine, Nik Fish, Bexta Amber Savage, Archie and Steve Hill.
Since the emergence of MP3 technology in Djing I have broadened my musical horizons to now include a fresh mix of Electro, House and Techno. With a change of genre comes a change of name as not confuse people. So when playing my mix of electro/techno I play under the guise of El Fidde. My DJ sets as El Fidde get the crowd bouncing with innovative and typically flawless mixes that meet the musical delights of everyone. Taking inspiration from Dj's and producers such as Ajax, Robbie Rivera, John Dahlback, Miles Dyson, Felguk, Alex Kidd and Deadmau5 you can be assured to hear an array of jackin', fidget, dirty electro mixed with indie vocals to really get the punters going.
