Hello Everyone,
Welcome to my page and thanks for visiting and showing an interest in what I do, Im DJ Raiden from Yeovil in Somerset England.
Mixing and DJ'ing? I first started mixing at university in Bristol and one of my house mates was really into his trance music and had a set of decks in his room, 1210's, so I had a great start interms of equipment! Just listening to what he was doing at first and then decided to have a go, from that point I was hooked and quickly saved up to get my own decks.
Started by buying a set of cheap belt drives which made me really appreciate moving onto direct drive technics some years later.
I've been into dance music for as long as i've been listening to music and was first introduced to happy hardcore and jungle back in 1995 when my brother was into the rave scene and was regularily going to all of the big raves at the time, ie. Dreamscapes, HelterSkelters and the famous Universe and Obsession Parties, some illegal if I recall. He brought home flyers from all the up coming events and some for me, which eventually plastered my bedroom wall. Bit sad really!
My passion has always been trance and classixs and im loving the sound of Electro and breaks at the mo too and getting more and more into, finding myself dancing whilst mixing on many occassions.
I played out unfront hardcore for 2 years and played in many different clubs around the UK. Im no longer into the Hardcore Scene and have moved my efforts back to my passion Trance.
Im a very social person and enjoy making new friends.
Im currently running a monthly Trance, Electro and breaks night in my local town called Ibiza Sessions.
