Neotek broke into DJ'ing in mid 2009 around the Adelaide Hard Dance scene and has gained a fan base for his diverse mixing in Harder-styles of Dance Music. Ever since Neotek has mixed areas in the Harder Styles of dance music that include:
Hardstyle
Hardcore (Old-school and New)
Hard Trance/House
UK Hardcore
Drum and Bass/Breakbeat
Dubstep
House/Trance (just for fun)
As Neotek has only just got his name around to local venues that play his type of music, he has played in shows at some of Adelaide's clubs including:
- HQ Complex (Soho Garden & Gabs Room)
- L!ve on Light Square
- Enigma
- City Nightclub (Old Earth)
With these shows he has played, he has supported such International & Interstate artists such as: Organ Donors, Brisk, Stimulant DJ's, Audio-freq, Toneshifterz, Steve Hill, Hektic, Weaver, AMS, Catzeyez and TommyKnocker.
He has also played the Official GODSKITCHEN After-party in 2011.
Neotek has also joined as a 'Crew' show runner for his bi-monthly show named HARDPOND on Adelaide's own internet audio & visual station Soundpond.net
It is a 6 hour Monday night show on rotation with other people involved in the station. He has also had the one off guest spots on other crew members shows.
2013 has now opened up the chance for Neotek and fellow Adelaide DJ Splinter-Cell to showcase the Harder-styles of EDM on Adelaide's own Fresh 92.7 Radio Station with a LIVE ON AIR Radio Show called HEAVY ARTILLERY. The show started on December 17th and is a continual weekly show showcasing everything hard from Underground Dub to Industrial Cross-breed.
Neotek hopes to keep growing in and around the hard dance music scene in Adelaide and Australia and hopes to start producing his own music in the following years to come.
