His early career started in 2007 with Hardcore/gabber, where he tore up the dance floor with distorted kick and banging beats.. By late 2008 his passion shifted towards the more popular Hardstyle genre, where he has brought his talent for blending melodies and breakdowns to create a very different music experience, and his sets leave punters dancing all night begging for more!!
After tear up the dex for the majority of 2009, Convict has gone back to his roots and has rekindled his love for dutch hardcore bringing A unique style of HARD AS FUCK BEATS & a passion for devastating baselines and all things hard to create a music experience that leaves punters begging for more. 2010 has seen Convict hold numerous residencies in Sydney clubs such as MASIF, HSU, IMPULSE, as well as numerous interstate shows to QLD and TAS.
Kicking off 2011 with style Convict teamed up with fellow Hardcore producers The Saint and Spellbound to for A.H.A (Australian Hardcore Alliance). These three generations of Hardcore dj's have been tearing up the dex across Australia, as well as releasing some quality productions of their own. As a reward for the Convict (and other members of A.H.A) will be representing the Australian hardcore this year at DEFQON 1 FESTIVAL in holland (spellbound) and Australia (convict, The Saint, Spellbound)
2012 has seen Convict dedicating more time to producing his own tracks. As a result of this Convict has been picked up by Australian Record Label KOMPLEX SOUNDS (KSX), which has cemented his name as one of the top up & coming producers from Australia.
2013 kicked off where 2012 ended, endless hrs in the studio as well as weekly gigs. Convict showed the world what he is all about at the first edition of MASTERS OF HARDCORE AUSTRALIA 2013, showcasing the worlds best industrial & hardcore tracks as well as his own productions. Keep your eyes & ears open for Convict in 2013 as he catapults himself onto the international Hardcore stage.
