Biography:
Convict career started in 2007 with Hardcore/gabber, where he tore up the dance floor with distorted kick and banging beats.. By late 2008 his style shifted towards the more popular Hardstyle genre, where he Dominated the scene with his Brutal talent for blending melodies, breakdowns & the heavyset baselines to create music experience that kept punters dancing all night begging for more!!
After tearing up the dex for the majority of 2009 playing Hardstyle, Convict has slowly gone back to his roots and has rekindled his love for Hardcore, while always maintaining A unique style of HARD AS FUCK BEATS & a passion for devastating baselines and all things hard to forge a music experience that will never be forgotten. 2010 has seen Convict hold numerous residencies in Sydney clubs such as MASIF, HSU, IMPULSE, SUBLIME, NOX & RAW as well as numerous interstate shows to QLD, ACT and TAS.
Kicking off 2011 with style Convict teamed up with fellow Hardcore producers The Saint and Spellbound to for A.H.A (Australian Hardcore Alliance). These three generations of Hardcore dj's have been tearing up the dex across Australia, as well as releasing some quality productions of their own. As a reward for the Convict (and other members of A.H.A) will be representing the Australian hardcore this year at DEFQON 1 FESTIVAL in holland (spellbound) and Australia (convict, The Saint, Spellbound). This year has also seen Convict releasing his own productions, as well as teaming up with Dj The Saint & Juggernaut for some collaborations, remixes & a Defqon 1 Australia Dj Tool.
Over Convict's short career has tore up the Dex up at parties such as, HARDER STYLES UNITED (HSU), HYPERSPEED, DAMAGE CONTROL (ACT), REWSPAWN (QLD), BASSQUAKE, GODSPEED, UTOPIA HOMEGROWN 3, supporting such acts as MARK EG, LOG:ONE & WRAGG, SHOWTEK, THERA, LOUK, THE BEHOLDER, TOMMYKNOCKER, NEOPHYTE, SCOPE DJ, ALUSION, SECOND IDENTITY, DUTCHMASTER, PSYKO PUNKZ, HAMUNAPTRA, ENZYME X, SCOTT BROWN, FLARUP, NA-GOYAH, CHRONO. many more as well as supporting Australia's finest Dj/Producers, TONSHIFTERZ, BIOWEAPON, NOMAD, S3RL, WEAVER. Placing in the top 8 in the Final Transmission Dj Comp, Convict is one of Sydney's most talented dj/producers.
Convict's set have also been aired on BEATZ RADIO, HAPPYHARD.COM and is now an Australian resident for the popular forum and online radio show FEAR.FM (www.fear.fm) where you can hear his hardcore beats every week on Saturday's 1AM AEST.
