BIOGRAPHY:

DJing all over the country has been a passion for DJ Arty since 1997. Heís played at the biggest and best dance clubs from Mackay in Queensland to Melbourne in Victoria and now based in Sydney, heís looking to ignite dance floors across the city.

His strength lies in being able to work crowds into a frenzy with his flawless mixing skills and techniques, trance music being his weapon of choice.

Since relocating to Sydney in 2006, Arty has been in high demand and the future looks very bright for this talented DJ.

Itís my name.

- Birthday?
In the 70s baby!

- What got you started?
Going out clubbing with mates and discovering dance music around 1994 got me interested. By 1997 I bought some decks and my first tunes. Going out every weekend on the Gold Coast and to raves in Brisbane got me interested in the Trance / Hard Dance scene. After that I made friends with some of the local DJs and they taught me how to mix. After that it was practice, practice and the rest is history.

- First tune ever bought?
Marmion - Schoenberg.

- First set played at?
In a club called Technomad in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane (formerly Tube Nightclub) - 1999.

- Residencies:
Scattered Industries (Melb)
Tuned - Fridays @ Tunnel Nightclub, Lt Bourke St, Melb CBD. (Now Monthly)
Plastic - Fridays @ Tailors, Mary St, Central, Sydney.

- Genres you like to play at clubs and at home?
Hard Trance is my favourite style to play. I also like to play Tech Trance, and whatever gets the hands in the air.

- Who/what inspires you?
Iím inspired by music that has energy. I like music thatís fun, and makes you wanna dance. I love all kinds of electronic music be it House, Drum n Bass, NRG, whatever. I love trance music and love playing the harder, faster, newer sounds of Trance that is being produced.

DJs and producers that inspire me include: Commander Tom, Scot Project, Armand Van Helden, Yoji Biomehanika, Marcel Woods, Reuter & Schleis, Dimitrie Siliakus (E-Craig), Cosmic Gate, Tommy Pulse and many more!

To entertain more and more people and play more big events.
